Default fenderwell vs underchassis headers

What are the advantages/ disavantages of either design?

I think the only difference is the requirement to fit.

Example, with my S - 10 fitting a fender well header is the best option. An under truck header would simply not be practical.

Oh, well in that case, it's gotta be fenderwell.

If you had a flow bench you would know that a 90 degree Bend close to the flange does.
Don't have that flow loss with fender well headers. Those would always be my choice when I had room.
