Not enough time ? I guess the ss/ja and ss/bm allowed you too much sleep. Good luck with the AH car and may your accountant be blessed.--------JOHN LOL

The problem with building a drag pak isn't time... It is MONEY!

And I expect that after the excitement of ordering one and then actually getting it has faded, the reality of "Oh My God, this is a pretty bare shell" sets in. Thus quite a few are now for sale.

Frankly, if I hadnt started when I did, but were looking at doing one today, it just wouldnt happen. It costs way too much money to make it race ready.

Not that I am unhappy that I got one and that we are running it, I really appreciate that Mopar created the Drag Pak cars. But the Obama economy really sucks, is getting worse, and is bad for everyone and especially for racers.

Not sure how true this is, (I think I heard this from an authoritative source... but who knows? I halucinate sometimes...) but after selling 100 of the 2009s, the plan was for building 100 of the 2010s, but a little thing like lack of demand and the economy will probably cut that number in half.

That is why I would buy a Ford CJ. They are ready to go when you pick them up. The price is a little higher, but you quickly spend or more that plus your time with the Drag Pak. I am not a Ford or Mopar guy, but the Ford looks like the much better deal.

Although great cars, I believe the FR500CJ's are the penultimate cooky cutter car. One size fits all. Boring.
