Default NHRA........at its feeble best

Hi,

Take a look at the new and improved NHRA Live Timing site........

Not only did they not include which class the car was competing in they also did not include the amount of over or under the index that the car ran........

I sent them an email about this oversight 2 weeks ago, but NHRA handled it like they handle everything else.......they ignored it.

Another job done to the best of their ability, which sadly is substandard...

Bob

I can only see thru 1000' times, no 1/4 mile ET or speed. Is that correct?

IIRC the previous version had the times as they occurred down track while this version only shows the numbers after it scrolls to the next pair when a run is completed?

Even better yet, if you go to Detailed Results and scroll down, they have the qualifying order by ET, regardless of class!

The problem not the know nothing contract worker......

The problem is that NHRA is using an old negotiating strategy which is "deflect and ignore" the problem or complaint and it will go away...

Don't blame the contract worker, you should hold people that hired him responsible for the end result....

You're telling me there are actually other classes in NHRA besides Top Fuel and Funny Car? And those categories race to 1320'?
Crazy...

Bottom line, they want the dog and pony show for Friday-Saturday nite and race on Sunday for a three day show, look how much money they would save. If the rest went away they wouldn't care. Because they are like the marching band at halftime, only means something to the band people. Most spectators go get something to eat or go to the john when the "pros" aren't running.

The back gate pays the entire purse and then some. There also should be a forum rule that you have to use your actual name or you can't post, most all respectful people use their actual name.
I wrote a bunch of responses but erased them all, you have your opinion and I have mine. I'll leave it at that, I won't resort to being disrespectful.
