These two photos were just posted on the FaceBook page for Hemi Shoot Out. They are from the US Nationals in 1989 of the John Friel original "LO23 code" Hemi Dart. David Barton confirmed that this car had set the NHRA record (for E.T.) earlier that month at 9.33 seconds.

The yellow Barracuda is the Wendell Howes entry. The red Barracuda is the Don McCallum entry.

It's finished. It is the Black Dart, with red wheels, in post #3456, on page 346.
