We have a simple difference of opinion on how to improve CAR COUNTS at YOUR RACES and you hurl insults now who's ignorant. You guys want everything to stay the same so you pick off a duck who's way slower in the 4th or 5th rd then good for yall.

Some circle tracks have classes with a breakout, ie., if you run more than 'x' amount faster than your qualifying lap times, you're out. This does not mean that such a rule needs to be adopted in the NASCAR truck series "to make things more fair". Different classes have different rules. Bracket racing is bracket racing, class racing is class racing. Class racing utilizes many bracket racing rules, but also contains a multitude of rules not found in bracket racing, both in terms of how vehicles may be prepared, and the format under which those cars compete.

This is a reason to factor such cars appropriately, but it is not a reason to eliminate from class racing that which makes it class racing. Does class racing have issues? Certainly. Gutting its identity is not the solution.

It's unfortunate that Slate's World Championship bid came down to one heads-up run, however he had options: 1) run a different class, 2) play the ladder differently, 3) outrun his opponent. I'm sure he's won heads-up races, too. As a former World Champion, he knew the rules of the game before the season ever started. And that's why HE isn't on here complaining about it. He *is* a champion.

Are you racing a class car? Because I am engine builder, transmission builder, rear end builder, and crew chief for two, both affected by the new cars.

I'm not worried about getting a duck, I have a couple of mid pack cars, so odds are I'm the duck, and for certain if the opponent has a new factory car. So your theory about us wanting ducks is void and invalid. Try again.

The difference is those of us actually racing in class have an informed opinion, because we KNOW what the issues are with the classes WE race. YOU are GUESSING that making it a total shoe polish bracket race will solve our problems. We KNOW that it will not. Hard to put it ANY simpler than that.

I have a 75 nova w a 355 that runs 1090s in the heat and 1060s in the cold shifting at 6500 w a 139 60 ft never meant to offend anyone and offended everyone. I am honestly under the impression that if more people thought they had a better chance w/out having to spend a ton of money or every night in the garage honing and shaving parts until 2 in the morning more of them would show up. My bad.
