Please reread the last thread slower. I didn't call or mean to imply that you were spoiled from your father, YOU did that. I said you are acting like a spoiled little boy because somebody didn't agree with your stance and you start bleeding and throwing names around. Do you see a common theme here? Yes, My Father funds the operation, so how can I call you spoiled in the manner you believe I did if I’m in the same boat? Only difference is, I win enough to break even most years. When I met you in Belle Rose, you didn't offer your response to not participating in ADRL anymore when I prompted you to, so I just wanted to hear it now. You’re Way out of line here, and you might or might not be getting a 3 speed, but you’re definitely getting a tune up this year.

I don't like the idea of blower cars in stock. Seems like NHRA just adds another letter and creates a new class for them instead of bumping them out of stock. Look for AAAAA/SA next year!

Hey--Jeff ,I got in on this one a little late--we have been writing letters for years to be allowed to have a 3 speed and to DEAF ears--if these new cars get to run them it CLEARLY shows a there is nothing FAIR about NHRA or the way they treat racers--I have lived with what R J / Wesley said that you build a combination and you live with it ! And this silly childish attitude that all you have to do is ask and you shall recieve --like NHRA has nothing else on its plate and sets around waiting for the TUETONS to call to recieve their marching orders--it would be a little refreshing for the players to keep there political moves off the internet and then just plain racers would not know how much behind the closed doors really goes on-- and they wonder why some guys dont show up as much as they use to??--and as the title of this post ,should the mopars get a 3 speed--get in line behind the guys that have been asking for years ,when you turn comes up be thank full,--later--Emmett

You want some cheese with that whine? Get over it. There are all kinds of blower cars on the street. Turbo's too for that matter.

No. Unless every other S/SS car gets a non-OEM transmission of their choice as well.

And they already have a class for that. It's called "bracket racing".

So as long as Mopar has a 3 speed in production with a part number it would be ok? Or is everyone not ok with the 2008-10 CJ's have a 3speed as well?

I'm just trying to figure out if it's Mopar people don't like or just the theory of the new cars having drivetrains they shouldn't.

Ya know Joe, it seems to me that you all have gotten pretty much what you wanted from the beginning of this whole darned thing. So with that being said, who decided that the V10 cars didn't need a 3 speed to begin with? I think that you should go and ask him why he decided to NOT submit the right paperwork, fire him, and drag him behind a Ram truck. Oh and live with what you've been given.

I have zero issue with it being a Mopar or Ford. I am not brand loyal other than we have a chitload of GM spare parts which makes it cheaper to run some form of GM product.

It is all centered around the unrealistic drive train that is being passed off as "stock eliminator" worthy, IMHO.
