It was really great to see and talk with Leo! We told him the guy in the tower was using some of his lines and I think he was headed up there to straighten him out!

Jody, Dick has a pretty long history of not showing up to heads up races he does not feel he can win.

Dick is still here. In fact, he just loaded up his car. I think it was just a matter of not being as fast as Zaskowski.

Well, Super Stock is back on the schedule, in between Pro rounds. It has turned into a beautiful, sunny day! For the moment anyway!

Bill Bader, Jr. came by the motorhome this afternoon and presented Larry with a special trophy that was made for all of the winners of this race last year. He said it did not get ready in time for the race last year, but he was in the process of tracking down everyone who won so he could give them this very special trophy!

The trophy is in a walnut box and it is an engraved ice cream scoop made out of stainless steel (I think). It is really cool. Here are some close-ups:
