Only the FS/X and FS/XX cars are immune to AHFS because they aren't factored based on HP and weight. Everything else still follows the same rules.

It has warmed up a bunch! 90 right now! Sitting in the stands is brutal. Most everyone slowed down .05-.10 unless they had problems on the first run. Sherman picked up to go in front of us in B/SA.

More later.

Stock Q2 sheet is hot off the press.

180 cars now. That should be all of them but who knows, maybe one or two in hiding.

128-car bump is now Tex Miller's 11.018 (-.832)

42 cars a second under or quicker

27 cars in the Factory Showdown

Roy Hill got his Cobra Jet to behave. Kept it in his own lane this time.

Notables who aren't in yet: Mike Pustelny, Daren Poole-Adams, and Brainerd champ Randi Lynn Shipp.

Stat of the day: 17 new cars aren't in yet

More later...

Tueton?) to build a competitive blown Mopar.

I think it would be. Maybe for tracks that don't get to see cars like these run it could be like an old Jenkins vs Landy match race.
Here is one just a couple miles from me. Big crowd to see these guys....

Pause that at 6.05 and I think it is our late great SS racer John Heida in the gold jacket and dark blue Dutchman's hat, smoking.

What a crock if you want to spend 150,000.00 and up,or in many cases get it free, for a store bought killer factory stocker ,which by the way has 4 link rear, coil overs and need I go on. Now there are a lot of great stockers at Indy that will sit out eliminations because these cars eat up 30 and more of the 128 spots. Only good news you don't have to run them in class but that's as far as most will go this year. 1.3 under will they get HP or not?

Tom this is live from thread, not a thread to tell us whats wrong with NHRA. We are here to have fun and let the racers that could not make it, know whats going on. This type of post just pisses me off, I don't usually say anything, but you need to start you own thread. Feel free to post on how NHRA screwed you, but please don't post it in this thread.

A little respect for the people who are trying to have fun would be nice.

Back to what people are here for, they just called Super Stock in to lanes, Super Comp is just finishing up. I have lot a photos and a few videos, It will be awhile before I can finish editing them, so stay tuned I will be back.

I see Kurt Neighbor is running a SS/GA 69 Mustang, any pics of that car?

The have John Stock in some weird FGT class listed as a 67 Mustang? Is that another car or the Cobra sports car misidentified again?
