No they (NHRA) didn't do their best. They could have and should have added additional parking staff when they were faced with the weather issue. Adding additional parking staff would of resulted in quicker parking for everyone. I'm sure everyone and me included would like to have a business where the customer pays in advance for 3 items. Let's say for the sake of illustration we'll use time runs/qualifying as an example. Then because I can't get the customer into my business, I just say screw you. You are only getting 2 of the items (time runs/qualifying) you paid for.

If I recall right Indy is on EST....it changes to CST west of Indy somewhere.....

Not sure if that's correct anymore but it was in the past....

when I first went to Indy (80's) their time was one hour dif from eastern, that changed, and they are now the same as eastern.

By Saturday all of this start up crap will be in the rear view mirror.

Enjoy the good - forget the bad - it cost too much to do otherwise.

New start time = 2:00. I'm #576 and no movement anywhere near us.

480 just left the field, not sure how long it’s taking to get parked from there. Like others mentioned, 2pm seems like the earliest reasonable time at this rate.
