Re: Live from Englishtown-NHRA Lucas Oil Series
Dave, I couldn't agree more that the track crew should have been on it, however, in order to make things better in the future the track management, who was probably not watching the action from the tower, should be notified. If anyone wants, I will gladly contact them and make them aware that the track was junk on Sunday. Were there bald spots or was the track just slippery?

E-Town is often not so good tractionwise later in the day.....earlier this year at a regular bracket race day I lost in rd 4 and was off in 60' and at the 1/8th by more than normal......... others tell me the same story at times there and sometimes worse..........Lots of cars running and nobody doing anything much that I can see.......Test and Tuners routinely messing up the track right in the middle of the day when we are running eliminations........Once earlier this year we sat for a very lengthy oil down and it was not the first of the day,,,,,,all because they take their $$$$ at the gate and let them out on the track between rounds.......and when we bitch they say those cars paid their money at the gate and they are going to let them run.........And to be quite honest it has often been exactly that way down there...... |
