i used to ride my bike to k-mart to find the latest model car, loved to learn the names of the parts and how they worked and how everything worked together, this started my love of cars and working on them, with the help of my dad we took apart carbs, then engines (well i held the droplight), but this was how we learned, now i cannot find a model car anywhere, ex. hobby shop. anyone else notice, wal-mart pulled them all off the shelves a few years ago, again lack of interest, phones and electronic games are now our babysitters... |
