Are you trying to change the subject again? I've stayed out of this thread on purpose but since you invited me, I am a little interested in what DYNO had to say about the shifters in these cars. I heard that some of the CJ's have trans-brakes as well. Supposedly they are not wired-up. You guys asked for this stuff by bringing crate motor cars into Stock. Just my 2 cents worth big dawg! |
Re: Jegs in car stocker video
Know of the Coan T350 which is supplied with the Precision shifter. Has clean neutral past high gear and does not have trans brake. It is all in the design of the valve body. as you all know.

Another good one: You can have blinders in fast cars, but you can't deep stage a slow car. |
Re: Jegs in car stocker video
Greg, Knob Creek sounds like something yall made in Kentucky without taxes. But if it dripped out of a Mopar radiator, I will have to try it. You gotta come to my fish camp and try some of this stuff I got. Now back to the subject at hand. So far the 6.1 got 5 and 5 coming, 90 of them made, the 5.7 got 10, and could get more by adjustment time, 7 of them made, the system has had some effect. Won't take long. Bruce, what you want to know about a dyno? Absolute Vanilla and a touch of tonic ain't bad, better than sleeping pills.

Michael,
I think anathema is too strong. Nobody has excommunicated your type of crate motor cars from nhra Stock because they were never in the guides. And I don't know of anybody who curses or detests them. Jeff, I don't want to know anything about dyno. |
Re: Jegs in car stocker video
Anathema? Excommunicated?
I had to Google Anathema......... Words not commonly heard on Classracer....and I doubt I've ever heard the word Anathema before...... |

Jack...that was my impression on that one as well.
I grew up in a Presbyterian/Potestant houshold........and yes I went to Sunday School every week. I was always kind of glad we were not Catholic due to the tales I heard about how strict Catholic school and religious upbringing was. I am guessing you were rasied as a Catholic and turned out just fine....... |
