I didn't realize "live audio" is now a pay for deal. I understand sort of having to pay for live streaming video but not audio. In the past audio was free to members. This stinks that even when you pay for it, it doesn't work!! Every other hi profile drag racing event has FREE live streaming video. All I want to do is listen to cars going down the track on my computer at work. NHRA really dropped the ball on this. You get so much for your membership dues, NOT!!!

I bought the live access for the weekend, and the audio is horrible, hoping they fix it, I think it goes to video also tomorrow at some point

156 stockers made the 1st run. Going by the indexes that were put up on the board, there were 10 A/SA cars and 11 B/SA. We had issues with our 2 step again and Travis Hess was timed out. They were showing Wann and Shaul both in AA/SA. There were quite a few cars that were in the wrong classes, so it might take a while to get the times up on DRC. At least 40 cars were a second under. Lots of red lights, but it is only qualifying!!

FS/XX had 21 cars. Barton was quickest at 8.15 @ 164

I, like most on here, are setting on the edge of the chair waiting for some numbers. Wish I could be there but jobs are finally coming in the door after 8 years.

Random observations:

Barton's early numbers were strong. He was 5.19 to the 1.8th. far quicker than anyone else

Turk's Mopar has top speed currently at 165.70

Leah Pritchett's Mopar struggled to do a burnout. She got the car to leave, but ir ran 8.516.

Currently 21 cars on the sheet. The Elite cars (Patterson, Enders) both no shows.

A little warm out there now, but it's still a great day for a drag race.

Gary Summers and Brian Seaburg (U/SA) are second and third 13.269 and 13.508

Thanks to all for the photos, comments and info. Biggest race of the year deserves the biggest thread.

Will anyone go 1.60 under?? Stand by boys and girls, this could get interesting. Remember Larry Hill and his truck a few years ago - 2+ under.
