[QUOTE=rboyle;609375........Division 1 BTW doesn't run in very good air most of the time. But not really looking for a pissing contest.

I have to ask, what is your definition of GOOD AIR ?

Not good enough to get a mineshaft condition at most of the races. Already said I don't want it to be a pissing contest.

Why can't we all just go race the way we each want to!? Jeez!

You have to be able to go 1.20 under to do this. Some can, many can’t.

It would make the ahfs work like it should

James, I know you are. People will still make 1000 foot deals if both can go 1.20+under.

Your standard LT-1 is

I don't even think the LT-4 is an accepted combo. Not real sure about that though.....

Just a brief departure from beating up Mr. Laporte here
As a owner of a lowly LT-1 F body. Is there any chance NHRA will ever take some HP off this combo? There are obviously a bunch of us out here. Would it be beneficial for all of us to unite to make a big push to NHRA?..
Now back to the beating!

The LT4 was an engine option for the 1996 Corvette, available with a manual 6 speed Trans only.
SLP built some 1996 Pontiac Firehawks (Firebirds) with the LT4 engines, put them together for GM.
