Sure, hide behind your wall of Wallys ;)

I won a few rounds in my days of .90 racing, and I've got a Wally from the days when you only got one for winning a divisional championship or a national. Out of 5 years of part-time racing on a college kid's budget, I could have done much worse.

No need to hide. Just having some fun.

It's funny how some people like thing to change but their not willing to change with the times.

Mike ...DONT forget your diaper.

I just want to race my old class without spending a bunch of money! I don't mind shelling out a few hundred for the diaper (one of those would have saved me a bunch of money back in 1988), but I know I can't afford a big inch motor right now. I know the class isn't going to change, I just wanted to see how people felt about the "old way" versus the way most people race now. Honestly I thought it was kind of cool when Terry Sullivan started running high mph in S/G, but I never thought it would get to the 175+ mph scene we have today.

Mike....I don't know where you get your score card.....but the amount of competitive 175 mph super gas cars in the country is less than 5 I bet....most cars run 155 to 165....

You're going to limit it to COMPETITIVE cars? ;)

I've seen at least one competitive 170+ mph car around here (Mike Ferderer), and several more who were faster but maybe less than competitive ;)

Just having watched without keeping specific track, I would guess that most of the cars around here are slightly slower (145-155 mph) with a few more in the 160-165 mph range. But there is always the possibility of drawing one of those 175 mph cars!
