Re: NHRA regulates off track behavior.........
Hmmmm let me think about this
first there was guys coming from WW 2 started building something called a hot rod they raced each other on the street. second, then a smart guy said lets organize these people. and make it safe and legal and maybe we can make a couple of bucks third, now days we'll play big brother, so street racing on tv is a no no even though most local track are making money promoting Fun day sundays street cars only on thursdays grudge race's saturday so the local tracks feed off the tv show and to a certian point pull cars off the street. most tracks charge 10 15 bucks to race. there is even midnight maddness. Al Hoffman (RIP) used to street race his big block lenco shifted corvette for money on a regular basis try to tell him what to do back then. So nhra should send letters out to members not to watch two lane black top, american graffiti, dragstrip girls, etc etc etc |
Re: NHRA regulates off track behavior.........
Really, who gives a **** !, nobody is chained to racing with NHRA, go race somewhere else, if this crap bothers you.

Re: NHRA regulates off track behavior.........
I wonder why the producers of that Discovery TV show did not just pixelate the NHRA decals in the videos?
If they had done that, I don't believe this problem would have come to all those letters. I would imagine that is the core of the problem. |
Re: NHRA regulates off track behavior.........
How about if I do that guest appearance that Fat N Furious has been calling me about...........
Would I still be able to come back and race NHRA??????????? Bob |
Re: NHRA regulates off track behavior.........
I think the show is stupid ! it is not any sort of drag racing program. REALITY TV... who cares.

Re: NHRA regulates off track behavior.........
Bob, go for it . Be a TV star !

Re: NHRA regulates off track behavior.........
NHRA is trying to play the "Almighty Role"......... and it's going to back fire on them.... so foolish. If Wally Parks was still with us today he would be ashamed of what they have and are doing.
They are done and don't know it yet. |
Re: NHRA regulates off track behavior.........
Its all about the money! Period! And If NHRA treated people (the racer) better, they would not have the problems they do. Ask me how I know? Their ship is sinking, and fast!
