Re: So all of you Mopar guys!
Naah! It might be a good deal but it's "Old School" compared to a Neon.

Re: So all of you Mopar guys!
SOOOOO, there once was a 2 door Neon, back in the day.. howza about another 4 cylinder Comp car.. tee time??.. or time for tea??

Re: So all of you Mopar guys!
Out of curiosity took a quick look and Neon's a getting harder to find up here in the Northeast. Either they want too much for it or it's just too far gone. What about some of the other 4cyl FWD models in the Mopar family from around that era? The Stratus, Cirrus, Sebring or Breeze? I did see in one of the older dime rocket posts someone mentioned using a 96 Dakota with the AMC 2.5L but the class guide is vague on that one. Says regular cabs must use M/T but it says that a SLT Plus can use an auto and they list it with a 112" wb which would be a short bed regular cab!

2004 Stratus uses bigger (2.4 2.5 ?) combo. I don't know how this engine compares to the 2.0. LOOONG stroke, 4-valve head, lots of compression. It might be a pretty good JYD. Probably DF/S car. WAY too heavy as an EF/S. Anybody else out there care to comment? |
Re: So all of you Mopar guys!
There was a little Mopar at a CIC race last week that took out about 3 million dollar's worth of race cars and support stuff on his way to the win. It was a 1986 charger EFS 135 17.45 index going 15.90s. Does that count. Tom

THAT being said, If you even THINK about cutting up that car, I will put you over my knee and spank the thought right out of your mind! And while I'm doing it, your Mom and Dad will be smiling down from Heaven! |
