Stock rd2 - Plenty of dew around the mountain so its a few slower tonight --- Bender in his lumbering wagon puts out Tex -- Giermanski wins -- Rampy goes red to Boburka - Fernandez moves on -- Lowell goes red -Serge goes red to Meile - Kieth O goes red to Conte - Pires moves on -- Parker goes red -Fetch runs dead on but loses --Barton stumbles bad and loses to Zane -- Marshall late then loses --Hall over a red Wendy --Martens over MacNeish who was red --Farell wins - Cook jr wins -Leber over Eric who went 10.14 in the Minuteman car --Santangelo wins - Bubba over Biondo

S/S TWO -- Downing over Antonette - Lisa over Holbrook who was dead on - Thomas Fletcher over Miller - Vignona loses to Cantucci -- Anthony B goes red to Allen - Timmy Worner breaks and loses to Bertozzi -Fletcher beats Kronenberger - Private Ryan goes by Haag - South over Supanek -- Sal Biondo over Riley in a double breakout -- Santangelo loses after breaking .

S/Comp may run tonight yet ..........

Good morning - Those still in today are living the dream - the big show in front of the crowds - all the hard work you did on your racer could payoff this afternoon when you end up with the Wally in the winners circle .If only .....well , you know the rest . Round three will be a whole new deal - new weather - freshly prepared track - and about a zillion other factors - just like rd1 but different . In Stock 22 still have a chance and only 17 remain in S/S with only Bo Butner having a entry in both . At least the night racing is over as the tree must have been tough seeing last evening as 15 in Stock went red - ouch ! !

Speaking of weather - there was frost on the pumpkin last night for sure as the temp dipped to the high thirties last night but will return to the high 70's this afternoon with again plenty of Sun .

Stay tuned .......................Almost forgot -- Can't tell you who till later but a long time New England Stock racer has been picked for "Best Appearing Car " - long over due but he'll like the Wally and pics for sure .......too bad his wife skipped this race .

Kenny sent me a picture of the schedule, a little tough to read but I think everyone will figure it out. Racing starts at 9:15

Here is your 2010 NHRA Toyo Tires Nationals "Best Appearing Car" winner - Dave Casey with his 427 powered '69 Corvette A/S -- congrats Dave and Kelly- your car is a beauty .......and your 10.14 ET this weekend wasn't to shabby either -- look for nines at the Dutch .

Great Pictures and fine reporting Jack.. Even though we were there for some of the action, we kept reading this post to catch up on action we missed. Nice job Jack, you certainly got it covered, and covered well.
