I saw it at Richard Beshore's house in Michigan when my boss bought the Hemi Dart that he also had. I called the boss and told him to buy both of them, but he already owned the Bill Stepp car at the time.

Division 3 Points Meet at Stanton, Michigan. Summer of 1988 or 1989.

These were just posted today on the Facebook page for "Hemi Shoot Out".
The responses that came back suggest that the car was run by Don Solomon, that he still has the car and that it was previously the Don Carlton Barracuda.

He sure did, National record holder. Rick built the chassis in his garage in van buren, Ar. Tommy Slaughter took care of the engines.

In 1970,

For the 'new' Pro/Stock Class.

Many were trying the 'Lexan Covers' for the front-grille, and front
5" air-spoilers for the aero-dynamic effect to help keep the nose down
at Top-End.

Also, many of the BO29 cars were now brandishing small fin-tail foils
on the rear trunk-lid.
