What's he doing under that car?

I noticed that too? Looks like maybe they are setting it up like a huge hp small radial tire car. Those cars slam the rear end down also? Idk?

Top speed; 185.18 MPH! Welch is making some serious steam. I'm sure his team is stellar but I believe Herb McCandless can help the program because it reminds me of days long ago. He knows more than many of us.

Not many because of NO advertising. I have counted the people in the stands at Pacific Raceway near Kent, Wa. - - usually less than 50.

Woodburn Drag Strip in Oregon does a great job of getting people to attend Divisional races. Last year the parking lot was packed to the brim with spectator cars. There were MANY people camped at the track for the whole 4 day event. The food is decent and the pricing for camping the whole weekend is reasonable, I understand.

Firebird Raceway near Boise, Id. is another track that knows how to get people there. Reasonable prices and great food help the place fill up for an event. The New family runs a very good operation over there.

Bottom line - - If you want people to attend Divisional or other events make the prices right and the food good.

I don't know the exact changes made, but James is right... the car is setup just like the the 275 drag radial cars.

Seems like a funny acronym for a race track to me. In the ham radio world, QRP means "low power".

Thanks Jim for giving the info.
I want to apologize to Bobby as I pick the wrong dial that round and he just could not run the number.
Thanks Bobby for the amazing job of driving at the Gators.

I just saw this. Hell no! I had a great time I picked the dial. It's all me and my lousy light didn't help anything. Thanks again!
