John,

I have known your beautiful 'Cuda since John Macey raced it at Dover Drag Strip.
It was one of my favorite cars as well as his very cool SS/GA Hemi wagon.
Then on to Billy Marshall and eventually Frank Lupo.
I'm glad it has a good home and I wish you luck.

Thanks Frank. Always good to hear old stories. If you see the car at any Division 1 races come over and BS for awhile.

I see Bill Marshall at most of the races, I think he still hates Hemis thanks to this car, LOL. and I got to talk Hemi with Frank Lupo at great length down at Atco. Super Stock racing a Hemi isn't the easiest thing or most practical way to Super Stock race, but as far as having fun, and the stories I hear, it has to be one of the neatest ways to go racing. If you don't mind working on it anyway, LOL!!

Paul,
Thanks for the picture of the wagon at Dover no less!
That car was too cool and so was Dover. I will never forget that place.

John,
Frank Lupo is an old friend of mine and he has a lot great stories to tell, especially about the '64 Dodge. If that car could talk!

The next time I'm at the track, I will stop by to check you and the 'Cuda out.

You know,,,,,,,,
I forgot to ask,,,,,,,,,,,but was John Macey into Heavy Rock,,,,,
Led Zeppelin III was released in January 1970,,,,,,,,

The lettering on the 66' Belvedere resembles the lettering on
the Led Zeppelin III album color.......

On the Frank Lupo 'Cantankerous',,,,,it may have not been the quickest
M/P at Dover,,,,,,,but it sure was one of the loudest..

Rich, I wondered what happened to all your pictures. I guess I found out and the same thing happened to mine...

The lights don't seem to be activated, again, maybe he hasn't staged,,, and last, but not least,, if its an A/S car why does he have BOTH hands on the wheel? I never drove a stick car that way, still don't. Maybe I'm missing something,,got to admit I do enjoy these threads. Take care.
