Stock has been told to "stand down" as there are a number of cars that have issues getting out their pit spaces. Top Dragster to the lanes.

Here's a few pictures that were sent to me this morning from Greg Rowe.

Doesn't sound like Stock or SS will run today.

Jimmy Alund finished in the top 20 in Pro Stock last season, which grants him a sportsman entry to any national event in 2016. (same rule that would allow say Dave Connolly to race Super Comp if he wanted)

He could also have gained entry due to his status as a nine-time FIA European Pro Stock champion. That rule is in place to help encourage more International participation.

I turned on the live stream for the first time and as soon as it plays it shows 2 top dragsters hitting the wall at the finish line...yikes

Those pics look like the back forty at Gainesville. I have seen them try boards, plywood, stone, hay and pumps. Like Perrone said you would think that NHRA would have made improvements by now. Feeling sorry for you all there.

By the way it looks like there is more rain coming your way in an hour or two.

Here are some pics from a couple of years ago, fond memories. I remember NHRA requesting that we rinse off our tires as to not bring mud into the lanes. Being in the back forty, by the time you get to the gate and building where the hose is at, your tires are already free of mud. Ahhh the memories.

Although not as deep as the "Sippy Hole", it looks like that area is much better suited for the Swamp Buggy races that I used to watch on Diamond P Sports/TNN!

Looks horrible, I hope they get things going in a timely manner. Good luck to all.
