I'm not a racer, but I've met a good many of you that post on C/R and when I looked at the Friday schedule, it continues to amaze me about the lack of respect for the S/SS racers that support NHRA. Both of the classifications only get one hit today. Sort of another slap in the face. I do wish some how NHRA could see that y'all are the future of the sport and not all the JF and DS shows. I used to spend my time taking pictures of the pros and then getting my pictures signed by them while Sportsman were running. Not anymore and haven't done it that way for 4 or 5 years. Good luck to all that remain in the fields for Saturday and Sunday and will see y'all in Charlotte.

Larry and Patsy, big congrats on the class win! Due to Libby's work schedule we couldn't attend; but I have already printed our tickets for Norwalk, so if you are going to Norwalk we will see you there.

Stock and Super Stock are done for the day, I don't have much info from todays racing, but I did see Austin Ford had a issue at the top end this morning. It looks like he did a 360, but I'm not sure, there was lots of smoke. He is okay as is the car.

Here are some more shots from yesterday, I will have more later today. The last photo was a little embarrassing. I thought I could get through the ditch, it did not look bad, but as you can see I was wrong.

Good morning everyone, Stock is in the lanes for round two. Its cold, but not as cold as yesterday morning. Temps are in the low 40's and they should be starting soon. I will be doing a live stream at the scales. Check out the Class Racer face book page.

Here are some photos at the scales of the 3rd round winners of Stock. Stock and Super Stock are done for the day. I will have some photos and hopefully video of the Factory Showdown cars coming up around 2:30.

I thought it was very interesting to see all winners pulled over for the tech officials to go through the cars. There were checking all visual components and checking for loose ballast. You can see this happening in the live stream I had early this morning.
