C'mon, man. Westcott's Hemis don't NEED a spacer, because the manifold is fabricated to fit the drastically shortened runners. If you ever actually saw a Westcott Hemi, you'd see that the valve cover bolt holes are practically a half-moon shape, because the intake runners have been cut back so far.

Valve seat replacement is legal now. Chamber modification is legal now. Combine the two options.

That's all I'm allowed to say.

The rule states the intake bolt holes must remain in original location. How can you cut 1" off the head and still leave the intake bolts in their original location? Or how about the valve cover bolt holes?

You are right Fred, I missed the intake bolts in original location part. Here is way around that.

WRONG, all there is stock location. I actual saw, bought, raced, fiddled with, broke yata yata. No need to whack out the class but some do to keep up.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong and I apologize like a man. But I know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that Westcott built some Hemi heads that were cut so far back on the intake side that the valve cover bolt holes were only half there. Maybe he didn't actually use them in competition (or maybe he got DQed because they were considered illegal), but I have seen them, with my own eyes.
