The Arlen Vanke B029 recently changed hands at a recent auction several months back, does anyone know where it went to or the sale price.

Maybe my old eyes....it looks like the nose is "drooped" a couple of inches like the newer pro stocks were.

Not schooled enough to see much else.

At least the restored version has the correct scoop on it.

You got it. Maybe old eyes but they're trained eyes.
It's REALLY well done, cause you can't see where the mods were accomplished.I don't know the actual drop in measurement tho.

I seem to notice panel alignment. Maybe from my teenage days in a bodyshop.

If you look at the pic you sent compared to the one above it at the strip, the bottom of the grille is now sitting on the top of the bumper. The top of the fender begins to angle down where it meets the door. If you take a pie-cut shape down the back of the fender, Say 1 inch at the bottom to 0 at the top,you "droop" the fender and improve aero. A LOT more work than just that to make the complete nose to droop but you get the basic process.
Lots of the older Pro Stock cars did that.
I believe it was originally a NASCAR trick.
Look at some of the 60's and 70's NASCAR (when they still looked like real cars) and you will find all kinds of aero stuff hidden there. From 50 feet, barely noticeable.
