Re: Challenger Drag Pak Owners
You can drive from NJ to CA in 3 days, done it with big Plymouth on the back of my C-30 flatbed, 2 people alternating driving with 1 hotel stop in the middle. We all know the problems that can plague a new car, give the guy a break. Give him some credit for what he has done so far, yea he likes to talk but he admits when he is wrong so he is not just some stroke. Time will tell and we will see how many gremlins turn up but I dont think he will have many.

Re: Challenger Drag Pak Owners
If drooze is willing to put in 14-20 hour days to get it completed and running, getting it to Pomona in 3 days time shouldn't be a problem. He could even swing by Music City Raceway for some testing on Feb. 6 and 7. I think he already has a few runs on it.

Hi Jack..........I agree.....I will be looking forward to reading your reports and seeing pictures. I know everyone else will be as well. Good luck and I'm jealous.......Hopefully the sun will shine and it will be warm..... It's all just in fun.....If this guy Drooze makes it apparently his efforts will have been worth it. Talking about every detail is the issue some of us have.....Like arnold says.....JUST DO IT........ If your going to post endlessly on a website I'm thinking your totally open to comments from the peanut gallery..........and your looking for feedback otherwise you wouldn't be posting in the first place...... |

Yes it was with a delay box and on a .400 tree. He asked what was a good RT on a .400 tree..... There are lots of very good drivers these days in Stock and RT's are usually well under .050's. Buttons, blinders and or just naturally good foot brakers. For Example.........Take a look at Michael Beard's RT's form this past weekends IHRA race in Florida. He won Stock........ The last race I ran before I sold my EFI LT-1 Firebeird I lost with a .010 RT to a .02x.on a dbl breakout...... I saw far better RT's in the opposite lane than years past during my short stint with that car.......Especially the younger drivers.... |

[QUOTE=W J;167088]While you're at it, how about giving the "positive thinking" people here your reason (s) just WHY drooze and his team won't make it to Cali? I'm saying, and hoping he will be there.... WJ[/QUOTE Ok, I will think positive and hope Drooze makes it to Pomona,CA.All I am saying is if he had a more positive plan with a new car he could be at the stripe at las vegas motor speedway doing testing this weekend on his way to Pomona.I was there last weekend for the PSCA DRAG RACE and the weather (60-70 degrees) and track was perfect. We shall see!

Re: Challenger Drag Pak Owners
Just watched the live link from vegas. Jeggie's Challenger struggled to do a burn out on maiden pass and was backed off track.
