You sure see a bunch of the 64 Plymouth sedans,HT's and wagons..anybody aware of a 64 Fury/Sport Fury Convertible that was or is running in S/SS??
Scott Carlson's 63 Dodge droptop sure is a nice ride!!

I'm surprised the NHRA let him run it without the Fury trim. I had a nice 64 Fury convert orig 383 back in the mid 70s and would still have it if some jerk didn't crash into it. It had bucket with no console and pushbuttons. I used to tow my 63 to the track with it and one day had problems with the race car and put the numbers on the convert just to make a time trial, it ran a 14.58 at about 96 mph, the only mod was stock Roadrunner exhaust manis and pipes. At the scales without me, it weighed 3975, wow, it had power windows, brakes, steering, factory sway bar and a huge clamp on Uhaul trailer hitch. My 64 Polara 500 convert had a console shifter.

My old race car ,,,67 Cuda ......and my new car on its way from Ohio to uk .....Cuda was an origional 70s race car from California ,,,i left the paint as it was and rebuilt the rest.... 64 Savoy is actually on the ferry to England as i type .....
