Art glad you got your car semi figured out with timing, if you can have those guys check over everything to get it to there it should be.

Had a great time,Jim an Jim an Connie you all did a great job,My heads were leaking water,But i came to race,three cans of stop leak,change oil,made a lap,milk shake,Got beat sun. by Owen Birkett both under by 2,cannot beat 004 lite.I was late.But what nice young man Owen is.He has a great future,glad to be his friend.Smitty,we are in bad shape Mike went 6.65 101mph at 3800ft.29.51 temp.99 hum.68 OUCH.

That's pretty good, I would have been shark bait if I would have made the trip since I have transmission problems. Trying to get them worked out, looking forward to running againt that 327 and that Firebird.

I would like to echo Owen's comments on the Southern Stock/Super Stock Association. Thanks to Jim Woods, Jim Wahl, Tina Summerton, Tom Ward, Connie, Hammer and anyone else who helped to organize and manage this race. Great job by the folks from Silver Dollar Raceway - they worked hard to quickly get the track ready to go after the Saturday afternoon thunderstorm passed through and did a great job all weekend. Thanks to RFC Chaplain Tom Ratliff for the Sunday morning service. Sean Ward did a fine job of announcing after breakage kept him from racing.

Congratulations to event winners Owen Birkett (Saturday) and Hugh Meeks (Sunday). It was great to see Woodro back in action with his new Corvette and to see Mike Pearson back with his SS/IA. We had a nice time visiting with Owen, Jim Woods, Jim Wahl, Kenny Wiggington, Jay Slane, "the Mayor", Woodro and many other folks.

Thanks again to the SSSA and track officials, racers and fans who made this special. We plan to run as many of the SSSA races as possible and can't wait for the next event!

We would like to thank the SSSSA for one, make that two great races. Again THANKS Jim, Jim, Tom, Tina & all the others that made this happen... It was one of the most fun, laid back races we have been to in a long time.Thank you Ed & Dorothy & staff of Silver Dollar for all your" hard" work. Silver Dollar is one of the most friendly tracks in the southeast. Also thanks to Kenny of Rogers Electric & Paul of Turbo Action for steping up with the extra bonus funds.One more thank you to all the racers that attented, it was good to see the old faces & to meet the new ones. Come on less do it again ! With even more racers in attendance............ James & Everett Hill , Owen, James said he would look for the brake pedal a little sooner next time. LOL. That was some great driving & a well deserved win for you!!!!
