Re: Censorship!

Labeling something as “censorship”, when no government entity is involved, is extremely juvenile and irresponsible.

It redefines the meaning of hyperbole.

as they say in the biz I rest my case about the main forum. As for Bunkster you are still a wheasel hiding behind no identity.Be a man identify yourself like the rest of us.
And by the way you dont have to be the government to cause censorship only only unconstitutional censorship.

Fortunately or unfortunately for some, I am the judge and jury for Class Racer. And as they say in my "biz" the case is closed. Please place your up coming race events in the event section.

Paul, please do not insult other members because they choose to use an alias.

Re: Censorship!

Just curious, but why was topics in this very forum, such as this one http://classracer.com/classforum/showthread.php?t=12227 or this one http://classracer.com/classforum/showthread.php?t=12248 or this one http://classracer.com/classforum/showthread.php?t=12061 or this one http://classracer.com/classforum/showthread.php?t=11668 that were adveristing (if you will) up coming races/events allowed to stay in this forum and not moved to the Events forum by Admin, but Pauls topic advertising an event was?

Why does Admin jump on Paul for "insulting" an Alias but has never jumped on an Alias for insulting Paul?

Based on Admins reply, I take it Admin as a personal problem with Paul. Therefore they choose to move his topics but not others. That's discrimination, isn't it?

I was merely making a suggestion of how to make your board more user friendly, thus more views and hits, thus more return for your sponsors. PLUS, more views for events, means more participation, means more class racing, means more need for a message board, which means more hits, which means more appealing website for potential sponsors. Do whatever you want to, ultimately its going to benefit classracer.com just as much as it benefits racers. Somes cases need to be reopened and another ruling made, one where the Judge doesn't let their personal feelings for someone hinder their ruling. :)

Re: Censorship!

I never new there was an events section...doesn't seem to be so many items that a seperate section is needed for events. We need more participants at our Roxboro combo races (we are struggling enough as it is) and by moving these notices to another section it will only reduce the exposure. I don't understand what the problem is w/ posting events on the main page...maybe if it was explained better everyone would be more understanding. Personally, I rely heavily on this message board to get word out to local racers and I think we need to make it as easy as possible for them to increase our car count. Just my opinion, for what it's worth!
