Re: My Indy DQ
evan, i was behind you with MJ's head in the head line... you handled yourself well
as i said in larry hills thanks nhra post...everyone knows that 6 thou isnt cheating size just oops dont take it personal, just smile and go racing ! jack mccarthy over 20+ teardowns... and only... 2 DQ's > 6lbs valve spring pressure & 2 degrees duration (back in the day of "real" stockers) |
Re: My Indy DQ
Hey Evan...
Your lesson is not without merit. I've got a set of heads I've pondered having a local machine shop perform. But I don't have to guess anymore. Something to be said about spending the additional $$ WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE. Many of us Ford racers still look up to you with great respect and understand nobody is perfect. Keep up the good work dude!! |

Re: My Indy DQ
Evan, no sweat man. You just better make sure you are going to be there next year with us to fly the NJ division 1 flag. Good luck in E-town, I hope you are in the final with a certain red 68 Camaro. Like I said at Indy, it's a bad *** ride even if it is a 5.0 mustang.
