Re: Stock 2007 Top Ten
The respected racers Larry mentions in his post have for the most part been focusing on other classes or other items besides racing. I don't think the foot/button rule had much to do with their location in points this year. They were excellent racers last year and still are this year.
By the way Larry, I see you have been racing alot of events lately, are you becoming a "touring pro" yourself? |

Re: Stock 2007 Top Ten
"Touring Pro" LOL now that's funny. We didn't race from June until Indy while we were working on the Cuda. Raced a little and now it is back to the drawing board to build a new engine. Hopefully we will get finished with it in time to get another couple of races this year. I am afraid that the "Touring Pro" will have to wait until we retire! If and when that ever happens!

Re: Stock 2007 Top Ten
Larry, be careful of what you wish for, someday, it may come true for you and regrets are hard to dismiss and you'll be labeled for life !!! I guess then though, you can figure the difference ?????
Love the reports by the way, makes me wish I was there for the 'extra ciricular' activities as well. It'll be a while though, Valvoline has pulled the plug on all us sportsman guys, new marketing company sees no reason or payback to keep any of us, what a shame that is. |
Re: Stock 2007 Top Ten
Sorry to heaar that Bernie. You Dan Fletcher and the Adcocks always represented Valvoline very professionally. You all gave them plenty of wins. I guess you can thank the sanctioning bodies for not promoting the sportsman catagories enough to give the sponsors enough bang for the buck.

Re: Stock 2007 Top Ten
Let's see..
Peter, not in the Top 50 although he does have 294 after attending ZERO Divisional races. Sounds like two wins and a R/U Nationally. What a terrible year. Fletcher, in the Top 50 with 409 points and only has 4 divisional races attended. A Div. win and he is in the Top 10. Richardson, 431 points and in the same boat as Fletcher with 4 div. races. G. and J. Emmons, only 3 Nat'l and 3 Div. races each. 349 and 275 points respectively. A couple of Div. wins, and you know that they can do it, puts them right in the running. Helms, 3 Nat'l and ONE Div. race nets him 302 points. 75.5 point average per race. What horrible years these racers are having. |

Obviously Ty did his homework and Larry did not. An Apple is not an Orange
