Re: Michael Vignochi - R.I.P.

Michael had a quiet gentle spirit that showed itself in tenderness, compassion, selflessness and wisdom.

Michael was a leader. He was humble and very forgiving. He was kind and giving to all – people and animals. Michael was a happy-joyful man and had a great big smile for everyone at anytime. He was known for his indelible grin – you could see it a mile away and it was very contagious.

We’ve known Michael for over 40 years and I’ve never heard him utter a bad word about anyone. I never heard Michael boast or brag about any of his achievements. His good deeds were just that – he never bragged about how he helped people or about what he gave people.

Michael was a man that was there for you at anytime – no matter what the situation. We knew if we needed help we could always count on Michael. Michael was a man you could call on in the middle of the night and he would be there without question. Not just for us, a stranger could call on Michael for help and he would not hesitate. Michael had one of the biggest hearts of all – he never met a stranger, never judged anyone and was certainly not a hypocrite.

Michael was a good Christian man that shared himself with all. We hope many learned from Michael and continue to share the true Christian characteristics Michael possessed and shared with the world.

We have been truly blessed to have Michael as a friend. We love Michael and will miss him very much.

I met Mike 30 years ago through Greg Wood, and had been good friends ever since. Had lots of beers and lots of laughs with Mike. I even remember the Blind Mule Race Team! The racing community lost one of the best.

I only got to meet Mike once at Reynolds,GA. I am glad I was able to meet him and I am sure he will be missed
