Alright this is what i've come up with so far.I have a gas carb set up, I leave @ 4000 chip,T-stop RPM about 4200,T-stop comes on @ .30 ,shifts @ .40,T-stop goes off @ .80 .......So do yall think that sounds about right ?? Is all that to soon in the run??

My opinion would be to chip it higher.
Unless you have a 1000 HP plus to launch the car I do not think 4000 chip is nearly enough to cut the light and get the momentum started.
I usually chip mine 5000 to 5600 depending on the adjusted altitude but I do bring the TS on at .07.
My car only weighs 2165 with me in it and it takes that to get it off and going.
I also am of the opinion that about 1 sec total in the TS timer is a minimum.
Most cars need that amount of time to settle down and then let it come back off the stop to full power.
Just a suggestion.
Track Time is the only way to see what the car really likes.

I agree that 4000 wont cut a light or get the car rolling very well.

I am also of the school of thought that you shift and go on the stop at the same time, one less upset to the chassis load. (Just my thoughts yall dont have to HIT ME)

I also think that sooner is better like .001, it breaks the beam and the car has less to be upset about like a tire wadding up, going down and standing up again. BIG AZZ VERIABLE

Ultimatly, dont go to the track and try to change more than ONE variable be it the stop or shift point. I watch folks try to change 2-3 things and then?????? How would you know?

I might start with 63's advice as a place to work from. Remember, His 2cents and 50 cents wont get you a cup of coffee, but, all our dumb looks are still free.

Good Luck, if you can, go test a couple days. See what the car likes from a repeatable, PREDICTABLE coarse of choices.
