The Lean Burn had two pick-up coils. One was for starting and the other was the run mode. There was no advance in the distributator, it was controlled by the electronic module that is on the air cleaner.
Get rid of it like the others say. Buy the complete kit. The carb will have to be richened up or replaced. Good luck!

They were hard on plugs and had a tendency to diesel when turned off.
