Re: Stocker driveshaft
Rodney lives down the street from me. He said it. Who's Rodney Kink?

Re: Stocker driveshaft
I think there's a better chance of Rodney being related to ML King,...or Don King

One guy suggested wrapping it in a very thin sheet of metal so a magnet would stick to it. But it seems like that would come undone after a few runs......CREATING HAVOC & DAMAGE ! ":-( |
Re: Stocker driveshaft
the rule book doesn't say you can't run one made from carbon fiber.

Re: Stocker driveshaft
Yes it does

Re: Stocker driveshaft
No CARBON FIBER driveshafts!!! No aluminum driveshafts unless OEM---says nothing about mixing a shaft from one year to another tho---- my take on it--Comp 387

Re: Stocker driveshaft
Before they put the wording in the rule book roughly 10 yrs. ago regarding aluminum driveshafts in older cars, I installed one and did a back-to-back test and picked up absolutely zilch in e.t. The same race I tested it at, they were using a magnet to check the driveshafts on every stocker that went across the scales. At the end of that year, they banned them on the older cars (that never had one as O.E.M.). Needless to say, that driveshaft suddenly became a rather large and expensive door stop.
