I was just kidding about the seats. Your radiator should be fine. The key points are will it fit, is it the correct flow (side tank or top tank) and correct materials (plastic, aluminum, brass).
I had the stock AMX radiator in my stocker but it had a heat rejecting coating, Meziere pump and electric fan pushing out. It was very effective in cooling down. Hardly ever saw me at the watering hole.

I tried running a 6 cyl radiator with the outlet and inlet changed to match the Max Wedge and while I lost a few pounds it wasn't worth all the overheating problems.
