Re: recomended presures in radial slicks
I'm running the liteweight Hoosiers, 92.5 X 9.00 hard compound @ 21psi on F/SA 71 Olds 442. I have 20 psi in rt airbag, 5 psi in left. Seems to hook OK, but I'm working on the power end of the equation right now.
I would like to know what you have for the A-Arms and links in the front suspension, I need my fronts to hang straight like yours, not splayed from camber change. Thanx, Starvin Marvin 3188 |

I bought my 9" radials from Hoosier at the track and their rep's said to start at 21lbs for my 3450lb Ply.

Re: recomended presures in radial slicks
Not radials but maybe you guys can help me out here. I run 26x10 Hoosier slicks. I had my 7" cutlass rallys widened to 9" for a better footprint. Now I don't know where to go as far as air pressure. My 9" slicks on 7" rims liked about 18lbs, but these don't. It hooks the best at about 12.5 lbs. Am I going in the right direction or should I try a lot more air in these slicks? Car with me in it is 3960lbs.
