Don't some guys race both classes. I would think they just change motors and rearends to fit the rules. I don't think they would want to leave the motor on "kill" for SS. They would probably just have a mild motor and comp motor, one for each class if they changed back and forth that is.

Well the trannys are different. In comp you can run the liberty cluthless. In SS you can run a Jerico clutchless. But you cant run the liberty in SS.

But you can run a powerglide or torqueflight behind your Chevy with an Air Shifter......so who knows.....
