Re: Old tracks
Old Bridge Speedway,NJ, Montgomery,NY, Vargo,PA, Strato Rods, NJ, Pocono Drag Lodge,PA, Flemington,NJ.....and my favorite York,PA ......I was not at everyone myself but did get to most of them. In the era of flat towing.....most of these places were long rides. Today it would be easy.....

Re: Old tracks
I'm looking for pics from the 86' Grandnationals in Montreal? my dad runner-up in SS against a gut he raced everyweekend at home at our local track in Nova Scotia. He raced a 1980 Oldsmobile Starfire, same as a Chevy Monza. If someone could point me in the right direction to get photos or video it would be appreciated.

Re: Old tracks
Old Bridge Stadium was the best, starting line was banked, hit the brakes hard or go over the wall....I think it was a 300' race,...I also remember Harmony..they had a paved drag strip for a year or two...we ran the Riley Bros. for Top Elim.....the spot was ,we were started about half way down the track in our flathead dragster...I turned 64 yesterday and that was a good 40 years ago...see ya'll at Cecil...still kickin..Duane
