Wayne I hope you are able to make it back this year. I will post some photos tonight that were taken from a bucket truck up over the crowd on Saturday afternoon. In the mean time go to www.eastcoastdragtimeshalloffame and go to gallery and look at all of the photos there. See how many cars and drivers you recognize.

Was that magazine/paper ever called "Mid-Eastern Drag News?"

I haven't seen a copy in about 40+ years, but I seem to remember it having the word "Mid-Eastern" in the title at one time.

Or, maybe I'm just having another "senior moment."???

You are correct. Actually the first two issues in '62 were called Maryland Virginia Drag News, they then switched to Mid-Eastern Drag News then Eastern Drag News. At the end it merged with Drag Times and became a newspaper type publication for a brief time.

We were there last year and had a good time even though it rained pretty good. That is my father's red '61 Starliner in the shots.
