Re: Golf cart dimensions
I have a Yamaha. My trailer has cabinets accross the front. No 'L' shape. My door is 48" wide. The cart has stock wheels & tires and clears less than one inch on each side backing in. Custom wheels will not go in. I have removed the rear footrest and I have about one inch left from the wall and one inch from the side door. You can step over it on a 28' stacker, but its tight with that large land barge I race. My trailer is 102" outside width and about 98" inside width. I installed a "D" ring about 3" on each side of the floor and use a small strap accross the floor to the rings and lock the brakes. Has never moved. Hope this helps.

Re: Golf cart dimensions
My 1999 Club Car is 94" tip to tip and 47+3/4" wide with stock wheels and tires.
It is about 750 lbs. If you wanted to put in sideways, you will HAVE to turn it using the open side door. Corner to corner is too long to turn inside the trailer. A Club Car has a perfect X under the cart to place a floor jack if you did want to turn it sideways. The backseat kit adds about 50 lbs. With aftermarket wheels and tires, I think it is right at 48" wide. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...&id=1139710155 Clark |
