That is true, I just had a "B" body 8-3/4 housing shortened to stock "A" body
dimentions and with replacing one end, straightening housing etc I'm into it
about $250 not counting the cost of the housing to begin with.

Out here on the west coast at the swap meets a drum to drum "A" body with
some kind of pumpkin will run you $500 to $1000 depending on what gears/
pumpkin are in it.

:confused: I've seen pictures of this housing and was wondering if you retain the stock mounting locations do the shocks clear the reinforcements on the housing? I'm thinking of using one in a 67 Dart with the springs moved in from 44" pin-to-pin to 36".
