Re: Schedule change for Belle Rose
I was informed by someone at the track that Mr. Pat sent two letters to NHRA offering to donate his services to attend the board meetings. HIs first letter received no response... same for his second letter. Looks like the west coast folks are,nt interested in hearing from a racer, track owner, and accountant all rolled into one person.
Smart move to start eliminations on Saturday. Beats the hell out of sitting in the rain waiting for someone to make a decision. My guy lost first round, but we are staying to congratulate the winners. Mr. Pat put us all on asphalt for the night on his road course. Everybody is on hard ground... unlike some other track that don't give a damn about the sportsmen racers. Looks like the heavy rain will miss us, but the race was called for the night due to intermittent drizzle. Glad we have a sportsbar at the track to hang around. Good luck to the racers. Sally |
Re: Schedule change for Belle Rose
what pat did by giving all eliminators a time trial on saturday morning after the ladders were set was a generous offering to all. as most know a bad weather system was going to hit the track at dusk. it meant sacrificing the cic race that actually benefitted all racers. kudos to pat and all the crew at npr for allways a job well done.

Re: Schedule change for Belle Rose
Pat used common sense and proper planning to make his race a success!
Common sense in high conceration is Genius !!!!!! |
Re: Schedule change for Belle Rose
And by their actions in Glendora, NHRA has stated loudly and clearly, that they want no part of experience, logical thought, and a fair-minded approach to running things.
Thanks for trying, Pat... You da man!!! |
