The Pro Slips included all four lanes. All reaction and incremental times were included with the finishing order on the bottom. I hope they never do 4 lane racing again other than an occasional exhibition. During qualifying or the race if someone timed out, the tree just flashed without all the extra lights lit and you had no way of getting on the launch chip.
That happened in many of the runs and a lot of data was lost due to the format.

EXACTLY! I did a lot of street racing, back in the '60s, and I never saw more than two cars go at a time. What they're doing is like the dirt roundy round boys. Except, they're running six heats and a run off. A man should never have to beat the same opponent twice at one meet.

You can potentially beat someone twice and lose to them in the final.Duhhh.
I heard also that Brutus Bruton is thinking of going 4 wide at Vegas.Remember when
guys were saying "Gee I hope Bruton buys NHRA"?Like the old saying goes,be careful what you wish for,it may come true.This guy is no Wally Parks.He's a former billionaire
looking to resume his former status.

The next thing you know NHRA will be offering "BUY BACKS" (like in BRACKET RACING) into the 4th or 5th round to pad thier $$$$$ intake at all of the races. They sure as hell wont increase the purse either.

But you know what, you all will still show up pay your money then bitch when in IHRA race is in your area and not go. Go figure.
