Re: History on Dodge Material
Duster 408,
I also spent many weekends watching Bob Clean up at Riverside. A lot of regular attending Hemis. Bob Marshall, Bill Weakley, Dave Mosley, Gene Boitnott, Gale Fink, Larry Hice, Frank Madden, Bob Porter, Slim Howard, Phil Roar, Hagen Endicot, Bud & Dewey Cook and many more. At the present time Bob and his son Craig are racing 4 cars. Two 65 Dodges, one of which is a real A990 car, the other a clone. They usually run SS/BA and SS/BM. They also have a Duster which is doing very well in stock as well as the SS/CM Pontiac. The Bill Weakly's stuff was mostly used Marshall parts. The first Dodge Material was painted white with red & blue trim. |

Are these the cars you're talking about? I haven't found a picture of the Pontiac yet.

Yep, Sorry I can't seem to get this pic any larger. In the background is Bob standing in front of his car when it was still white.

Frito.
I remember Hice's Dart, loved the stripes on that deck lid. I was at Trails for the anniversity race and thought I saw two different Dart Sports. Of course Bob's was the quickest. I spent every Saturday night at Riverside, those were the days. |
