I have probably had my engines factored more times than anybody else and can still qualify well. I don't like being called a cheater by someone who is afraid to post his name!

You obviously suspect or have particular people in mind that are committing these crankshaft violations, correct? One way to set this straight as far as I can see it. Bring your Stocker(s) and your Super Stock Stocker(s) to Indy, put up the money and protest one of these alleged cheaters. This will bring awareness. I am sure of that.

Bob, The good thing about you is that you beat up a combination that only you have at the time. You never make anybody mad when your stuff gets HP. We all wonder what obscure combo will be next though . My name is Steve and am proud to say it.

People that don't have enough character to use their names when acusing others of cheating should simply be ignored.

Whens the last time anybody removed a pan?Has NHRA bought any new engine hoist lately? The last guy refused saying the one they supplied wasn't capable of doing the job.Looks like the nuts running the asylum

Did you not see the picture of NHRA's cherry picker against the front of his car where the arm would not reach the center of his engine? Which, by the way, was disconnected and ready to lift out? Officials saw that and told hm to hook it back up.

Somebody tell you he refused?

Ed,I wasn't there.I followed the thread on here and it seemed that the racer in question didn't want to use the hoist supplied.
My comment was directed at NHRA.Comments were made about the quality of said hoist.NHRA HQ is in the general vicinity of Harbor Freight I was told.A deal for 2 or 3 quality hoists, for advertising rights, could go a long way towards getting the rules to be followed by having the means to check cars out without damaging them.I hope that clears up my intent.
And Bob,you're my hero. But retire the Caddie and go up a class or two.:>)
