Ken you don't know me but I certainly remember you as a kid at the track and very upsetting to hear of people like you getting hurt. Get well soon sir. I'll put you on my prayer chain list for you and your family.

I raced and lost to Ken the round prior to the accident. I hope he is half as tough as a person, as he is as a competitor. Then he will pull through this quickly. I am hoping for a speedy recovery for him and the motorcycle rider that suffered some pretty bad injuries yesterday also. Get well soon Ken.

This is terrible, Ken is in my prayers.

Is there a way to set up some kind of fund to help Ken with his
upcoming medical expenses? I know he has been unemployed
for a while now.

Does someone who is unemployed qualify for workman's comp?

Nope. Have to be an "employee" and doing an activity that is within the scope of your employment to qualify for W.C.

Ken's a real nice guy and a helluva competitor. I hate to see anyone get hurt doing this. He'll be back....of that I'm certain.
