Chip,
Patsy & I would blend in so well with the beer and brats crowd that you wouldn't even notice us! We used to race IHRA top stock and had a lot of fun until the rules got bought! Most of the IHRA races are at least 400 miles away, but that may still be an option.

Mike,
The only thing I have left that is running is an old pick-up truck that will barely run the index! LOL

Greg,
You and I can think of 50 guys that should be there that aren't. By looking at past entry lists, you can see that people are mad and ain't gonna go racing when they don't have a chance.

You mean the truck that was #1 at Indy? lol. Besides, we still use the IHRA Indexes at our races. HT/SA 14.45; IT/SA 15.25 Index.

Larry,
I remember your bumper Draggin wheelie at the Rock a few years ago.

Lots of Kentucky racers make it over from time to time. I'm sure IHRA can find some red carpet for you. Why don't you try VMP in a couple weeks. Air will be good and the DP's and CJ's have their own class.

9 3334 SS/JA Chris Holbrook, Livonia MI, '10 Cobra Jet 10.127 11.00 -0.873

35 3924 SS/FA Brian Wolfe, Willis MI, '10 Mustang 9.784 10.45 -0.666

BUT NOTHING IS OUT OF WACK!!!!!!

I would bet these two cars still have stocker motors in them. SS/JA is an 11 pound class which in stock is G/SA. 10.12 in G is not bad. 1.87 under. SS/FA is an 8.5 pound class which equates to B/SA. 1.46 under the B/SA index.

To be fair, the Holbrook combo is rated 10 hp more in Stock than SS. So it'd have to carry an extra 110 in G/SA than it does in SS/JA.

My guess? It's probably still carrying the extra weight and, even if it isn't, that's still way too fast to be playing around with other G/SA cars.

Lets see;
+ Ported heads & Intake
+ SS Cams rockers
+ SS type oil pan
= another 80 to 100 HP???
Danny & Bruce WAKE UP even Ray Charles can see this one!!!!
