Take a bare spring and pile on the weight until the spring compresses 1". You can use your body weight or a fat buddy if needed.
According to your first post, everything worked hunky-dory until you replaced the springs. Now the car has a completely different mannerism. So either you the spring is the problem or you have another problem. But all arrows point to the spring...unless you decided to take an impact wrench to your control arm bushings.
You should be able to bounce the car both up and down. I suspect you can't do either.

I bet they are not 150lb springs. I put Santhuffs on my Chevelle, 200lb spring rate @nd 1925lb front end weight, I'm 1/2"-3/4" off the lower bump stop. Best thing I've done for the front end ;)
