That mid May date at Thunder Road (Red River) is very good as far as weather. It is less likely to rain than in March or April. It is also one of the best times of the year to draw spectators in this area. there are too many "Other" things to do any other time of the year. Get there early. I bet it will fill up.

And, they are all 1/4 mile!! Yipeeee! No half track bs.

Great Race track and who knows I might have a cook out at the home track. Last race there I had a fish fry and we had some much food was giving away to everyone

Mr.Brannon, if you cook out there again, we will definitley be there! Not so much for the racing, but the fried catfish!:) Last year we ate so much I could barely get in the car the next morning, or maybe it was the beer........not sure.
